Biologists in the professional world
Studying a basic science subject such as biology does not prepare you as directly for a career as studying engineering or architecture does. On the other hand, the range of professions that opens up is much greater.
Teaching biology at a grammar school, pursuing a research career in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry or pursuing an academic career are just a few of the obvious careers that biologists opt for. Various others can be found in the links below.
