Integration of gender spezific aspects in research and teaching

ETH Zurich's Gender Action Plan identifies various measures to integrate gender-specific aspects into research and teaching:

  • in teaching, the focus is on the development of teaching and examination methods that are equally good for women and men, and on enriching courses or curricula with gender-specific aspects;
  • research is about the consideration of gender criteria in research content for more innovation and better quality;
  • gender criteria are also taken into account in departmental evaluations, and ETH members are made aware of the importance of gender differences.

Gender-specific differences are taken into account to a greater extent at the D-BIOL in teaching, research and knowledge transfer, so that we can attract more women and research results are more widely supported.
