D-BIOL Executive Committee newly elected
Due to the pending sabbatical leave of Department Chair Prof. Matthias Peter, it was necessary to elect a new department chair and vice chair.
The elections took place in the D-BIOL department conference of 28 September 2015. Prof. Ruedi Aebersold (Institute of Molecular Systems Biology) was elected as the new department chair. Prof. Markus Aebi was elected as vice chair. Prof. Yves Barral remains on as the Director of Studies, as his second two-year term was confirmed last fall.
The D-BIOL would like to thank Prof. Peter for his extraordinary service and commitment for the department and wishes the newly formed executive committee a successful start.
